The University of New Mexico College of Nursing (CON) represents the very best in quality and innovation within an academic environment.  Our well-established Nurse-Midwifery Program is highly respected and we endeavor to improve the health and well-being of individuals and families through partnership and community collaboration. Our primary mission is to educate nurse-midwives to provide midwifery and reproductive health services for rural, diverse and under-resourced communities.  We strive towards social justice and human dignity in our teaching and student support.  Our faculty and graduates recognize the strengths and challenges of historically marginalized communities and place a high value on diversity, equity and inclusion
