Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Brenham is seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to join our compassionate NICU team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing neonatal program in a supportive and well-resourced environment, with a vision to elevate our NICU services from Level I to Level II.
About the Role
As a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner, you?ll provide expert care for newborns and premature infants, collaborate closely with neonatologists, and support families through some of their most critical moments. You will be responsible for:
Delivering high-quality care to neonates in a Level I NICU setting
Participating in 24-hour coverage, including call and weekends
Contributing to our planned NICU upgrade to Level II status
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes
Educating and supporting new parents during neonatal care

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
EXPERIENCE - More than 1 Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Acute Care Nrs Pract Cert (ACNP-BC), Acute Care NP-A Gerontology (ACNPC-AG), Neonatal NP (NNP-BC): Must have one of the following:
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ACNP-BC)
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ACNPC-AG)
