Responsibilities
Pediatrix is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist for per diem coverage at four Bon Secours Mercy Hospitals in the Richmond, VA area. Responsibilities include management of critically ill sub-specialty newborns, delivery room coverage, neonatal transport coverage and wellborn nursery coverage:
This is a multi-hospital NICU practice based in Richmond, VA that is affiliated with Bon Secours Mercy Health System.
St. Maryâ™s Hospital is the hub of the practice with a Level-IIIB, 21-bed NICU with perinatology and pediatric sub-specialty support.
St. Francis Medical Center and Memorial Regional Medical Center are level-IIIA NICUs with 8 and 9 beds respectively and active well born nurseries
Southside Regional Medical Center is a 7-bed level-II NICU with newborn nursery coverage
Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel
Excellent support team of experienced neonatal nurse practitioners and physicians assistants
Qualifications
Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
VA license required
