Are you passionate about women's health? Is your goal to be a Labor and Delivery or Mother Baby Nurse?The aim of this program is to support the novice RN to transition into the role of a maternity nurse. Integrated with AHWONN's Perinatal Education and Orientation Program (PEOP), features will include a combination of online course work, instructor-led classes, skills labs and two clinical tracks, one designed for Labor and Delivery and one designed for Mother and Baby. At the conclusion of the PEOP, participants will be awarded 50.25 continuing education credits and will have received 6 months of clinical bedside experience with rotations throughout relative roles.
