Ability to Float between all Pediatric specialties and train in all areas: Med Surg, ED, NICU, and PICU

Our Temple location is also the home of our flagship neonatal intensive care unit, a Level IV NICU.

112 patient beds: 48 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and 48 Neonatal ICU beds in our Level IV NICU
24-hour pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases
Pediatric surgery with five advanced surgical suites and a three-room procedure suite
Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Center with state-of-the-art MRI and a "Flash CT" scanner that emits the lowest effective level of radiation, reducing risk to smaller bodies, making scan times faster, and requiring less sedation
VeinViewer® illumination device to help access small veins and arteries beneath the skin
ECMO therapy, a lifesaving heart and lung treatment reserved for the sickest of patients
Pediatric and neonatal transport ambulance and helicopter

Job Summary
As an RN Float, you are vital in healthcare, coordinating patient care based on our nursing model. You assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues. You keep patients safe by understanding their needs and the healthcare setting for smoother transitions. You delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities. Your professionalism and experience help you make important recommendations that impact patient outcomes.

You should have a thorough knowledge of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.

It is crucial for you to have effective communication skills, both spoken and written.

Qualifications
You should have graduated from an accredited program in nursing or have two years of relevant work experience.
The main area of study in your education should be nursing.
(2) Two years of hands-on experience in nursing is required.
You need to be a registered nurse
Have basic life support certification or get it within 30 days of starting.
