The role you’ll contribute:
The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The Women’s Float Team nurse will be required to float to all inpatient units within CFD-S that he/she holds competency for. This will include care for any inpatients held in the OB triage areas. They will be required to maintain all necessary licensures, education competencies, and certifications to perform their necessary job duties.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Obstetric, Labor and Delivery, Antepartum minimum 1 year
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Graduate of a school of nursing
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
• Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced life support certification (ACLS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Professional certification
