Open a new chapter of inspired care as a nurse practitioner on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at UF Health Shands Hospital, a nationally recognized, 1,162-bed academic medical center located in beautiful Gainesville, Florida.
In this full-time role, you’ll be a trusted and valued member of the NICU team, helping the attending ICU physician and ensuring coordination and continuity care for newborn babies who need intensive medical care. You’ll make frequent rounds to assess the status of patients and direct care accordingly. You’ll also contribute to care decisions by coordinating therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures.
We’re seeking current Florida-licensed acute care advanced practice registered nurse practitioners (APRN) who have a master’s degree from an accredited program. The following are also required:
- Neonatal ICU/Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care (PNP-AC) – ICU experience preferred.
