Northwestern Medical Center seeks 1 full time Nurse Midwife to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part Midwife Team at NMC! The ideal candidate would have strong clinical skills and an exceptional bedside manner, providing obstetric and gynecologic care to our patients and performing deliveries in our community hospital.
Description:
We have pristine new facilities for our OB/GYN office located in the main hospital building, ensuring women have access to state-of-the-art gynecologic care. Our exceptional, experienced Labor and Delivery nurses and OB/GYN physicians will partner with the Midwives to provide the full range of obstetrical services. Together, their excellence was recognized in our national designation of “Baby Friendly Hospital.” We see about 350 births per year.

Job Requirements:
VT License;
at least 3 years of experience;
Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) and is an active member of the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) or National Association of Professional Midwives;
1:4 call – equally sharing clinic, nights, days and weekends.
