DescriptionSummary:Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disorders affecting the circulation. May perform therapeutic procedures such as psedoaneurysm compression. Records and maintains tests data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results and other duties as assigned. Depending on hospital department, may also perform routine abdominal, small parts, breast, OB/GYN, and other vascular and non-vascular ultrasound procedures.
