Currently licensed as L.P.N. or R.N in the State of Delaware or compact state. AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider or Instructor Certification.
Responsibilities: Synthesizes patient assessment data & recognizes complex situations prior to communicating with the care team; obtains information from patients vital for success clinic visit which may include: vital signs, patient weight/height, past medical/social/surgical histories. Consistently demonstrates safe and accurate technical skills. Assessments of patients are accurate, consistently performed and completed efficiently. Demonstrates competency in the performance of all procedures routinely performed in the office. Routinely demonstrates proper technique in operating all office/medical equipment. Triaging of patients is accurate and complies with instructions rendered by provider. Accurate documentation of continuum of care. Demonstrates competency in providing quality patient care. Accurately follows provider directions. Handles all specimens using proper technique. Correctly labels and processes specimens. Insures proper preparation of specimens for lab courier transfer to Lab. Routinely performs all nursing duties using appropriate PPE and in accordance with OSHA standards. Performs all job duties within the scope of practice and the organization's policies/procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned.
