Seeking Neonal Nurse Practioner for **Per Diem** coverage for Mednax practices in Kansas!
* Seeking Neonatal Nurse Practioners who are licensed in KS and reside in KS - Ideal or IMLC compact eligible
* Minimum of 1 year's experience.
*Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
*Day and Night Shifts Available. *8 hour day shifts and 16 hour night shifts.
Wesley Medical Center is the main regional perinatal center for the state of Kansas outside the Kansas City area. Level III NICU.
Wesley delivers about 5500 babies each year, with 800 inborn NICU admissions and 200 neonatal transports. We have a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties but do not provide ECMO or CV surgery.
Our midlevels are responsible for patient care for the nicu ( our census averages 52) and delivery room coverage of the main labor and delivery area plus the Birthing Center across the street.
We staff 3 neonatologists and 3 midlevels on the 8-hour day shift and 1 neo and three midlevels at night. Typical patient load is 8-10 per shift. No transport duties or call from home is required.
Effective November 1st, 2021 Pediatrix will require all employees and new hires to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they qualify for an approved medical and/or religious exemption.
