Logan Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner PRN/Flex to help with our Kids First Program. We have started this program to assist in the care of our adolesents and pediatric community needs. This NP will be be responsible for the following duties:.
Perform medical examinations for suspected Abuse (not acute cases).
Documentation of findings in Medical Record.
Medical Treatment  if any significant findings identified.
Work with Child Protective Services/The Logan County Child Advocacy Services.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in FNP or PA.
West Virginia FNP or PA license.
SANE Trained Nurse in Pediatrics.
ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to conduct self in a courteous and professional manner. Utilizes the nursing / PA process as a framework for patient care while recognizing the dignity and worth of each patient. Collaborates with other health care members to maintain a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
