The charge nurse is under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager and is responsible and accountable for the on-going daily clinical activity, staff, care of patients, delegation of tasks and supports the hospital mission, goals, policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process as the means of care delivery: Cultivate relationships with providers through daily rounding. Demonstrates a positive relationship with interdisciplinary teams. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care in conjunction with the nurse director and nurse manager. Respond to patient satisfaction data and effectively work towards improvement of care when problems are identified.
