Hours: Full Time, 0.9 FTE, Night Shift, 36 Hours Per Week.

$15,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required qualifications:
Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
All Registered Nurses without a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing must obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing -or- higher within three (3) years of hire
A RN with twenty (20) years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies:
American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), -or-
Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) upon hire
Sugar Temperature Airway Blood pressure Labwork and Emotional responsibility (STABLE) within 90 days of hire
One (1) year acute care experience working with the patient population similar to DEPARTMENT -or- completion of the specialty residency located at Providence Alaska Medical Center
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
National Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care
