SEEKING PEDIATRIC SURGERY PA
for our Growing Pediatric Surgery Practice
Pediatrix has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Certified Physician Assistant interested in pediatric surgery in the Houston metro area. Our practice includes three fantastic, easy-to-work-with and experienced board-certified pediatric surgeons covering The Woman's Hospital of Texas and surrounding ASCs. We are expanding our team to include coverage at HCA Healthcare Clear Lake and HCA Healthcare Kingwood
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in all types of pediatric surgical cases
Shared responsibility with other PA's to manage the service - to include rounding with surgeons, EMR documentation, discharging hospital patients, follow up on tests and results and coordinate care of patients and their families
Assisting surgeons in every capacity of patient care.
The candidate may be experienced, or a newly graduating physician assistant with a motivation to learn and a develop a career in pediatric surgery.
Texas medical license a plus.
