DescriptionProvides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on infants, adolescents, and adults and reassessments per policy. Ability to assess neonate at delivery and perform neonatal resuscitation according to AHA guidelines. Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management. Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition.
