DescriptionDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: This is an inpatient role that will cover the spectrum of Pediatric General Surgery patients on a 24/7/365 basis. Rotating shifts will include days/evenings/night shifts and some backup on call. The APRN or PA will work with a large team of APPs to provide complete care from inpatient, to OR, to discharge. APPs on this team will perform some consultations as well. APPs on this team work closely with the surgeons, fellows, and residents. Pediatric Surgery patients are admitted all over the medical center including med/surg units, PICU, NICU, and CICU.
