Licensed Practical Nurse (Specialty Clinics)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the Specialty Clinics Nursing Team who exercises greater judgement, operates in accordance with the established policies, procedures and techniques of the position. The LPN assists the Registered Nurse with the care of patients who require continuing assessment by maintaining good interpersonal relationships in the work area and with supportive personnel. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing(ACEN) at the time the program was completed
