Part-Time Certified Nurse Midwife

The Oasis Center seeks a part-time Certified Nurse Midwife to support our unique prenatal and postpartum program for women with substance use disorders.

The Oasis Center is a non-profit family medical clinic specializing in the needs of families affected by substance use disorders. Our model focuses on family stabilization, children’s healthy development, and community partnerships addressing physical, mental and emotional health and well-being of families.

Our prenatal and postpartum program is a part of the Nurture Oregon pilot program, a state-wide project to support women and infants.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of working with substance use disorders and enjoy working as part of a care team.

This position is in-clinic two days per week, no deliveries. We are open to other schedules!

• Antepartum care
• Postpartum care
• Well-woman gynecology and family planning
• Care Coordination/Case Management for prenatal patients with SUD

Malpractice insurance provided

HRSA National Health Care Service Site

Required:

• American Midwifery Board Certification
• Oregon Nursing License
• 2+ years’ experience providing prenatal care services
• X-waiver to prescribe buprenorphine (may obtain after hire)

Previous experience working with patients with substance use disorders preferred.
