All About Women Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for two Certified Nurse Midwives to practice in our Gainesville, Florida office.  We are a patient centered practice with a 20 year history of midwifery care.  We are currently seeking two CNMs to replace one retiring midwife and another who plans to relocate out of state.  You can learn more about us at www. Our practice is collaborative in nature and all deliveries are hospital based at North Florida Regional Medical Center.  Call is limited to one 24 hour period/week and 1 weekend in every 6.  Weekends are currently defined as Saturday and Sunday.  Our midwives see patients in the office 2 .5 to 3 days/week. 

We believe strongly in the patient/provider relationship and create an atmosphere for both midwives and physicians to develop that kind of relationship with their patients and with each other. Our mission is to provide comprehensive healthcare for women combining personal attention with state of the art technology;  to treat each patient with warmth and enthusiasm; and to provide a nurturing environment in women's healthcare. 

Requirements Include:

• CNM Certification
• Florida license
• Ability to handle high pressure situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships with patients and colleagues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills to aid in EMR adoption and charting requirements
• Ability to listen to the patient's wishes while providing sound medical advice
