We are seeking an experienced neonatal Physician Assistant to join our team of dedicated neonatologists, NNP's/PA's to provide care to patients in suburban and in-town Atlanta. Piedmont hospitals have received A grades from the nonprofit Leapfrog Group than any other system in the state.
Coverage will be at any of all 3 locations in the Atlanta area: Piedmont Atlanta, Fayette or Henry, providing opportunities to practice at more than one facility
PA's/NNP's attend high-risk deliveries, assessing and rounding on newborns in the NICU
Though there will be some flexibility in scheduling, we anticipate the nurse practitioner will provide coverage during the day with 14-15 twelve hour shifts per month
Our NICU'S have the capability to provide comprehensive care for infants ranging from extremely low birth weight to full-term requiring specialized interventions.
