The NICU Manager will assist in the design and build of our Level III NICU to include state of the art equipment and highly skilled clinicians who provide high quality, compassionate health care to neonates in east Alabama. The NICU Manager will play a vital role in bringing policies, procedure, competencies from the development stage through to implementation and evaluation for excellence. This professional should demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, the ability to coach/teach, communication skill and leadership style that engenders confidence from members of the interdisciplinary team.
3+ years NICU experience required
Registered Nurse, State of Alabama
ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of DOH or transfer
BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
NRP is required within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
Nationally certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC)
