Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Neonatal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Pediatric team at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital located at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Provide direct patient care to a selected patient population in the NICU.
Demonstrate the ability to present cases and identify the differential diagnoses with accuracy and understanding
Assist pediatric residents by evaluating possible admissions to NICU from regular nursery
Educate and assist the pediatric residents with management plans and procedures in the NICU
Assume leadership role in Neonatal Recitation Program and engage in research and performance improvement projectsOur NICU is one of the few state-designated Level III nurseries specializing in the care of high-risk newborns, Jersey Shore’s NICU admits infants from birth through 28 days with a variety of diagnoses, the most common being prematurity.
