Department Manager Leader - NICU
In this role, you will manage a 24-hour department providing patient care services. You will ensure that the staff provides high quality, accessible, cost effective care, and patient focused services to members across the continuum, which comply with local, state, and federal requirements. In addition, you will develop and maintain clinical standards of care and practice and be responsible for all resource budgeting, selection, and development.
At least five years of nursing experience in both patient care and management/leadership roles
Four years of previous supervisory experience
A master’s degree is required
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
A current California RN license
NRP certification required
Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other local, state, federal regulations
Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills
The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
