PositionSummary: Coordinates,plans, organizes implements and monitors nursing care of the adult, pediatricand neonatal patient as applicable in accordance with departmental philosophyand objectives. Facilitatescommunication and continuity of care for patients, accepting accountability fordaily operations of their respective units when on duty. When delivering patient care 1) provides highquality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing thenursing process 2) assumes the responsibility for overall coordination andintegration of patient care based onneed of the patient and family members 3) directs care according to establishedstandards of safety, risk management, infection control, with the goal being todischarge the patient with an optimum level of care provided 4) utilizedevidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheresto the Florida State Nurse Practice Act 5) reviewed orders/test results anddocuments care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
Position Requirements/Qualifications: (includingrequired licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)
Minimum: Graduate of anaccredited RN program
Minimum:1 year nursing experience in unit of expertise.
Preferred: Management experience preferred.
Registered Nurse -licensed in the State of Florida.
