Clinical Nurse Specialist, NICU
Moreno Valley, California
In this role, you will partner with the operational manager to ensure that nursing staff delivers safe and effective care. This role is built around the five role subcomponents as regulated by the California Board of Registered Nursing: Leadership, Consultation, Research, Education, and Clinical Practice.
At least three years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care
Clinical master’s degree in nursing, in area of specialization
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
California Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification in area of specialty
A current California RN license
A current BLS certification
Demonstrated clinical expertise in area of specialty
Recent project management experience
The ability to consistently demonstrate the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors
The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Clinical Nurse Specialist experience preferred
Recent level III NICU experience as a CNS within the last two years
