Clinical Nurse Specialist – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
In this role, you will provide in-depth clinical expertise in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will develop and ensure quality standards for the nursing practice and for a specific patient population. In addition, you will provide advanced clinical practice education, consultation, research, and administration.
A master’s degree in a clinical field of nursing or a clinical field related to nursing including but not limited to psychology, public health, social work, education, health sciences, behavioral sciences, nutrition, and bioethics from a nationally accredited master’s/post master’s nursing academic program
A current California RN license
Clinical Nurse Specialist certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing in area of specialty
Current BLS certification
ACLS or PALS certification preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
Demonstrated clinical expertise in area of specialty
The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
