The Quality and Safety Department is currently seeking a Clinical Data Quality Specialist (RN) for a full time position. In this role you will abstract, interpret and present data for assigned database(s) / registry with the objectives of facilitating accurate and timely reporting of quality measures / outcomes data; support evidence-based practice and improvement efforts to promote excellence in health and clinical outcomes.
• Assess appropriate inclusion/exclusion criteria of data, based on defined data dictionary; assists in evaluation of data dictionaries. • Attain and maintain proficiency in data abstraction and entry. • Utilize basic understanding of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding in daily work routine • Maintain competency in Soarian, Centricity, Access Any Ware, Power Chart, Web View and other applications specific to duties (assigned registry, Access, Word, EXCEL, Powerpoint, etc)
Five or more years of combined clinical experience in Neonatal/Pediatric Health
Education and understanding of and/or experience in information technology, outcome analysis preferred.
