The Neonatal Nurse Educator is responsible for facilitating improved newborn nursing practice and quality newborn patient care through the role of neonatal clinical nurse educator. This position is one of a professional nurse who possesses clinical knowledge, teaching skills, and supports continuous quality improvement.
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a BSN; MSN preferred and hold a valid Nursing license.
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a Level III Nursery is required with educator experience preferred.
Knowledge of advanced nursing skills required in a Level III setting, current NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. upon hire, NRP Instructorship upon hire or within six months, ACLS upon hire or within one year and S.T.A.B.L.E. instructorship upon hire or within one year.
