Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Regional Obstetrical Consultants in beautiful Chattanooga, TN is actively seeking 1 full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to add to their practice. This opportunity offers excellent work-life balance, with an average schedule of 7 (24 hr.) shifts per month. Our level 3 non-surgical NICU has an average daily census of 14. Parkridge East NICU participates in the Vermont Oxford Network. Experience with high risk deliveries, resuscitation and management of critically ill and chronic neonates is highly recommended, but will consider new graduates with at least 3 years of Level 3 background. Responsibilities include attendance at high risk deliveries, direct patient care, advanced procedures, and ventilator management including HFOV, Conventional and Nitric Oxide, consults with prospective delivering mothers relating to premature deliveries, and provides management and facilitates transport of infants needing transfer to higher acuity centers and stabilization prior to transport. NNP’s work autonomously in a 22 bed specially equipped NICU alongside the Neonatologists. NNP must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of TN with a Masters Degree in Nursing and certified and licensed as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the State of Tn. PAs with experience and training in a level III/IV NICU will be considered. Maintenance of NRP are also required.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is based on number of years experienced and will be discussed with contract negotiation.
