The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital is searching for a Director of Audiology. The Director will be responsible for all clinical, research, education and administrative functions of the Division and contribute to strategic planning and operational direction for the Division. The Director will oversee operations at multiple clinical sites and participate in direct patient care services as well. The ideal candidate must have at least five years of clinical experience as well as strong management and leadership skills.
The Division of Audiology is a fast paced, patient focused clinic where all staff members devote their clinic day to making our patients’ lives better. We complete testing and habilitation/rehabilitation services for neonates through senior citizens. We work collaboratively with physicians and outside providers to determine the best treatment plan for each patient.

Audiologist Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s Degree and/or Doctorate of Audiology Degree
District of Columbia (D.C.) Audiology Licensure
Commonwealth of Virginia Audiology Licensure and Hearing Aid Licensure is preferred but not required
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Audiologist Job Summary: MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Division of Audiology is in search of full-time Audiologists who can diagnose, manage, and treat individuals with hearing and balance disorders. Our Division provides both inpatients and outpatients with diagnostic testing, device fitting, and counseling on a daily basis. We operate a fast paced, patient focused clinic where all staff members devote their clinic day to making our patient’s lives better. We complete testing and habilitation/rehabilitation services on neonate, infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. We work collaboratively with Physicians as well as outside consultants to determine the best treatment plan for the patient.
