Broward Health Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdale’s largest healthcare facility.
Full Time Eligible 80 Hours per pay period. Days. Weekends as needed.
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the oversight, including but not limited to the planning, administering and evaluating the twenty-four-hour operation of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level IIII 63 beds. The manager will be accountable and responsible for the professional practice, clinical outcomes, human resources management, financial performance, customer satisfaction and refinement in response to needs and trends. The manager must be able to work in a cooperative manner with all members of the healthcare team and have a high level of responsiveness with a proven track record of creating a positive work environment. The manager must foster an environment of respect, sensitivity and inclusion for all. The nurse manager must be able to provide support and encouragement and provide constructive feedback for improvement when warranted through clear verbal and written communication and active listening. This leadership position will oversee approximately 75 employees and must oversee the use of staff and resources to provide exceptional outcomes while promoting financial viability.

Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required.
BSN required MSN; preferred.
At least five years in Neonatal nursing and minimum of 3 years in middle management in a tertiary care facility preferred.
Current BLS and NRP cards from the American Heart Association.
Certification in Clinical specialty strongly preferred.
