This is a very exciting time at Penn State Health! Our Children’s Hospital is expanding! We are looking for a clinical expert that can help support our amazing team of Registered Nurses in the NICU. The Clinical Practice Nurse Leader in the NICU, RN will be responsible to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary, unit based team to provide nursing expertise for a defined microsystem. The CPNL will lead quality care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety. The RN, Clinical Practice Nurse Leader will collaborate with staff through patient education activities. This Clinical Practice Nurse Leader, RN will be the clinical expert on the unit and ensure quality and safely initiatives are met and exceeded.

Master’s Degree in Nursing required
5 years of clinical experience in area of expertise
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent collaboration and consultation skills required
Must be familiar with process redesign
Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
