Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Job Summary In cooperation with the attending neonatologist, establishes a medical plan of care for management of newborns requiring intensive care treatment. Uses advanced knowledge to function in an expanded collaborative role. Independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
Requirements Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. Current Missouri Advanced Practice Nurse licensure as a Nurse Practitioner according to MO State Board of Nursing.
