Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Perioperative Care Associate I \(0\.6 FTE, Days\) in Main OR at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\. This is a weekends ONLY position \(Saturdays and Sundays\)\.
The Perioperative Care Associate I \(PCA I\) is an entry\-level position learning the basic function and rationale of the surgical department\. The PCA I is a member of the surgical team who, under direction, assists the surgical staff with turning over OR suites, setting up OR suites and transporting patients\.
In this position you will:
Assist with the turnover and set up of surgical suites
Assist with transporting patients, equipment and specimens to various departments in the hospital
Responsible for stocking the operating rooms with appropriate levels of supplies and returning any surplus to the appropriate location
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school education or equivalent
BLS Certificate from American Heart Association
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Previous experience in a healthcare environment
